High Fevers

The twins have both been running fevers since Wednesday. I'm not sure what it is, the fevers have been up to 103 at times. yikes.
Needless to say, training had to wait because having 2 sick babies is quite a challenge. I ended up sleeping on the recliner last night. At one point I had both of them with me because they wanted mom close by. Poor babies.

They are both teething, so I am thinking it may be that. After their fever broke this morning, they have been fever free. We'll see how it goes. I'll be there tomorrow for sure, I cannot miss the most important day of the week.

Well Bless yo little ole Panamanian heart!! It's amazing how children want their mama. I'm male nurse that takes care of people all day long and at home when my son gets sick, who does he want? His Mama!! I hope you can rest today and that the twins are feeling better.

I remember those days! It is tough enough just working and taking care of babies much less trying to train for a marathon. You are my hero.
Hang in there!

The "fever virus" - been through that. You just sit around and keep them comfortable as possible, lightly entertained, and before you know it five days have passed, and they are finally well. No other symptoms, just fever. No known cure yet. Is it their ears, is it something else? Guessing game. Hang in there, and enjoy that cuddle lap time. My 17 yr. old son has definitely cut his apron strings and cuddle time has been long gone.

It is amazing how resilient kids are...sick as dogs one minute and wild as a buck tearing up the house the next. That's why we mature ones have the gray hair!! Seriously, glad they are better and hope to see you tomorrow.

Yikes. I remember all too well just having one at a time with fever. Hang in there! It looks like you made it today, so you get extra kudos! You are a marathoner! Liked the new hat, too!

Saturday wogging with you was such a HELP to me. I am looking to up my jog time a bit this week to 1 minute 15 seconds, then walk 1.5, so maybe next week we can go again. Anybody else in a similar interval too is welcome. The more people the better, just to get us to the end of the trek. I did the cold water thing after I got home Saturday, and Sunday, I was feeling ready to go again!
